On March 3, NARS held its first 2016 Advisory Committee meeting at the National Assembly VIP restaurant. Fourteen members of the committee, including Chairman Ahn Byeong-ok (Professor at Kongju National University) and ten senior staff members, including NARS Chief, took part in this meeting.

After Director General of NARS reported the plan for 2016, various questions and suggestions from the members were presented. Among the suggestions were plan for strengthening organizational capacity and proposing important research topics.

Dr. Lim Seong-ho (Chief of NARS) appreciated the committee's comments and said, "We will make sure members' opinions are reflected in the management of organization and put efforts into strengthening NARS's capacity as a legislative support organization."
