On September 17, Sean Kealy, professor at Boston University School of Law, and Felix Uhlmann, professor at the University of Zürich, along with 12 other legislative experts visited the National Assembly Research Service to learn about NARS's roles and functions.

Briefed about the NARS's duties, responsibilities and organizations, experts showed much interest in various aspects of the NARS. Delegates and NARS members had a fruitful discussion on ways of maintaining non-partisanship and timeliness, exploring research and analysis methodology, developing relationship with the government executive branch in law making, and dealing with increasing research requests from members of parliament. This meeting served to strengthen NARS's cooperation with legislative experts from around the world.

The delegation including professors, lawyers and public servants from eight different countries came to Seoul to attend an international conference on Innovation of Legislative Processes, which was hosted by the Korean Legislation Research Institute (KLRI).
