On June 26, NARS celebrated its 100^th Policy Issue Briefing. Every week NARS provides a Policy Issue Briefing, a session which informs the National Assembly members and their aides about current and future policy issues. Topics are chosen from the published reports which deal with policy issues both at home and abroad. NARS conducted its first Policy Briefing on June 7, 2012. Since then, NARS has provided this briefing to the members on a weekly basis.

A ceremony to celebrate NARS's hosting of its 100^th Policy Briefing will be held at the main conference hall on June 30, 2014. During the ceremony awards will be given to eight legislative researchers who have made more than three presentations at the policy issue briefings.

NARS Policy Issue Briefing is broadcast every Monday at 7:00am and 9:00pm on the National Assembly TV (NATV) Parliamentary Issue Brief. Video clips of each briefing are uploaded every week on the national assembly website (http://www.natv.go.kr).
