The National Assembly Research Service, founded in 2007 to serve National Assembly Research members and committees by providing research and information, celebrated its 6^th anniversary on November 6, 2013.

Dr. Koh Hyun-wook, Chief of the NARS, praised and thanked all the staff members for their efforts and contribution in responding to about 9,500 requests-a substantial increase since the 19^th National Assembly began-and also for their tireless work to make the 4^th International Seminar for Parliamentary Research Service a success. Dr. Koh added that the NARS would concomitantly stay focused on its core values-expertise, non-partisanship, accuracy, and timeliness-and make greater efforts to earn the people's trust as one of the country's top-tier think tanks.

During the ceremony, founding members shared personal stories about NARS in its early days, while other staff members suggested ways to improve workplace communication.
