2nd Quarter Report Accolades of NARS Rendered
  On Thursday, July 14, 2022, the NARS rendered the 2nd quarter report accolades. Pursuant to the National Assembly Research Service Award Guide, the NARS has been selecting outstanding reports every quarter, and at this time the reports written in the 2nd quarter are subject to screening for award.

  Twenty-four reports including 4 reports printed in the publications of NARS Legislation and Policy Studies were singled out for award, as were 6 reports in NARS Current Issues and Analysis, 11 reports in Issues and Perspectives, 3 reports in Foreign Legislation and Policies.

  An award ceremony was not held due to concerns stemming from the Covid-19 pandemic. Several Awards were bestowed on several people: Researcher Heo Seokjae for his report on “Controversies and issues regarding inequality of ballot forms: party privileges and the order of symbols”; Researcher Kim Yesung for “Current status of pan-regional cooperation for balanced national development and future tasks”; Researcher Park Sunkwon for “Problems and improvement direction of the 4th Basic Plan for Low Fertility and Aging Society”; Researcher Ryu Hoyeon for “Protection of minority shareholders following physical spin-off and listing of subsidiaries”; Researcher Lim Jaebeom for “Current status and implications of other countries’ taxation on virtual assets”; Researcher Heo Minsook for “The reality of family diversity and policy challenges” and “Measures to protect children and adolescents from sexual assault by relatives”; Researcher Park Insook for the report “Issues and tasks for discussion on the restitution of excess rebuilding gains system”; Researcher You Yeongguk for “Germany’s response with competition law and its implications following digital transformation of the economy.
  Recipients or their representatives only were gathered for group photographs.
  All reports including those awarded are posted on and available to the public via the NARS website.
