In commemoration of the opening of the 20th National Assembly, NARS issued a total of four reports which consist of “The Legislative and Policy Issues for the 20th National Assembly,” “The Legislative and Policy Agenda in Economic and Industrial Area,” “The History of NARS and Its Legislative Support Activities,” and “The NARS User Guide.”
“The Legislative and Policy Issues for the 20th National Assembly” contains pending issues and bills that were actively discussed but not passed within the 19th National Assembly. This publication also proactively discovers and examines potential legislative and policy issues in the 20th National Assembly for each standing committees.
“The Legislation and Policy Agenda in Economic and Industrial Area” closely examines the domestic economic and industrial trends, and conducts in-depth analysis on the relevant issues. Its purpose is to aid Members’ legislative activities and is published quarterly.
“The History of NARS and Its Legislative Support Activities” includes joint seminars hosted with Members and Members’ Research Group, and study cases on the NARS’s legislative and policy support activity during the 19th National Assembly.
“The NARS User Guide” aims to introduce the characteristic and major duties of NARS as well as the procedure for use of its services. This guide is specifically designed to show how to optimize NARS services for a particular current issue of interest to be addressed in legislation.
NARS expects that these published reports will be useful for Members to understand the NARS legislative support service that they can take advantage of during their legislative and parliamentary activities. More details will be provided through responding service at the Members’ requests later on.
