On May 27, Dr. Lim Seong-ho(Chief of the NARS) gave briefings on major work performance of the NARS to the National Assembly Speaker Chung Ui-hwa, to celebrate his first inauguration anniversary. During the briefing, Dr. Lim elaborated on the improved infrastructure for specialized research and analysis, the reinforced legislative research request system, and the advanced role of identifying and examining potential legislative issues, better job security for legislative researchers, and cooperative networks with other research services.

Dr. Lim also pledged to conduct post National Assembly audit measures, continuously hold civic virtue seminars, offer development plans for inter-Korea relations, provide legislative support for improving regulations and legislations, and conduct in-depth research on legislative impact analysis.

Briefed about NARS's yearly performance, Speaker Chung Ui-hwa advised NARS to focus on the basics, renew one's mindset, and continue to put great efforts to change and innovate the National Assembly.
