On October 2, NARS held a ceremony at the main conference hall in honor of Dr. Koh Hyun-wook who has stepped down as the 4th Chief of NARS.

Through his farewell speech, Dr. Koh thanked all his staff members for their commitment and hard work during his time as the Chief of NARS. He also asked for their continued dedication to NARS and wished the very best for NARS.

During his term in office, based on the five core values 'ENACT,' (Expertism, Non-partisanship, Accuracy, Confidentiality and Timeliness) Dr. Koh played a leading role in improving organizational capacity and strengthening professionalism which contributed in driving NARS towards one of the top-tier think tanks for comprehensive policy research. He signed Memorandum of Understandings with various parliamentary research services from around the world and held the 4th International Seminar for Parliamentary Research Services that was the largest so far. Under his leadership, NARS was able to expand its domestic and global network with a number of institutions serving similar roles.
