On February 19, NARS advertised on its website openings for six legislative researcher and legislative research assistant positions.

In response, numerous applications in the six categories were submitted: 12 in financial policy; 5 in national defense; 15 in tax policy, system and law; 32 in new media; 13 in environmental law and related dispute; and 16 in broadcasting and Internet. A total of 93 applicants applied for the available six positions, making the average competition rate 15 to 1 a illustration of how fierce the competition is for jobs at NARS. While the national defense research position recorded the lowest competition rate (5:1), new media recorded the highest (32:1).

This reflects NARS¡¯s development and recognition as a legislative research service that supports parliamentary activities through providing in-depth research and analysis.

Successful applicants will start working in April. They will be conducting research and analysis at the request of the National Assembly members and providing legislative information and studies.
