NARS held its opening ceremony for the New Year on January 4, with all staffs participating via online.

  It was the very first virtual event at NARS, following the epidemic prevention guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. To make use of the online platform, this year’s ceremony was an interactive event—unlike formerly held events—where all staffs took part. Following the New Year’s address by the Chief of NARS, members of the various staffs shared virtually new year’s greetings and well-wishing remarks.

  In his New Year’s address, Dr. Kim said, “As one of the new projects NARS is working on this year, we will announce the ‘NARS Issues of the Year 2021’ at the beginning of this year.” He went on to add, “To connect Korea’s most prominent experts with legislative research officers and examine and discuss current domestic issues, NARS will start the ‘NARS Perspectives and Discussion’ forum.”
