NARS Signs MOU with Korean Bar Association for Exchange and Cooperation
 On Tuesday, May 28 at the Second Seminar Room (No. 406) of the National Assembly Research Service, NARS signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korean Bar Association (KBA, President Lee Chan-hee) for mutual exchanges and cooperation.

With the aim of enhancing research and analysis capabilities and strengthening expertise in the legislative and legal fields, the agreement has great significance in that it is a pledge of mutual cooperation and exchange between NARS, a think tank of the legislature, and KBA, which is striving to promote basic human rights and realize social justice as part of the three pillars of the law.

Under the agreement, both agencies will work together on ¨ç research on major issues and the holding of academic events, ¨è information exchanges such as publications and policy data, ¨é human exchanges to strengthen expertise and enhance mutual understanding, and ¨ê other programs to enhance mutual exchanges and cooperation.

¡°The main tasks of academic activities conducted by KBA are in line with NARS¡¯s major tasks such as analyzing pending issues,¡± said Kim Ha-joong, Chief of the NARS, and added, ¡°Through today's agreement, we will make efforts to ensure substantial and smooth exchanges between the two agencies, including holding joint seminars and meetings.¡±
