Chief of NARS, Dr. Koh Hyun-wook, gave briefings to the members of the second half of the 19th National Assembly House Steering Committee (chaired by Lee Wan-koo).

During this briefing, Dr. Kohl aid out NARS's vision for ensuring Expertise, Neutrality, Accuracy, Confidentiality and Timeliness (ENACT) and to become a top-tier think tank. He also pledged that NARS will put its utmost effort to support the members' parliamentary activities and that it will work on accelerating research response time.

Briefed about NARS's vision, National Assembly member Park In-sook pointed out the staffing shortage of NARS, citing that "While the number of proposed bills has increased by six fold, there has been only a mere 1.6 fold increase of (NARS's) staff." Park also asked NARS to further improve its efficiency in supporting the members. Based on the members' reviews, NARS plans to address the problems raised and to lay out measures to improve its organization.
