The National Assembly Research Service (NARS), a research arm of the National Assembly, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Institute for Monitoring of Current Legislation of Uzbekistan on May 28, 2013. The MOU was signed between Chief of NARS, Dr. Koh Hyun Wook and Director of Institute for Monitoring of Current Legislation under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Farruh Mukhamedov Erklievich.

Institute for Monitoring of Current Legislation of Uzbekistan is a research institution conducting legal reviews, monitoring current legislation and implementing the concept of further deepening the democratic reforms and establishing the civil society in the country.

The MOU aims to exchange legislative and policy information, relevant publications and other materials related to the areas concerned, personnel, and hold joint meetings, seminars, and symposiums.
