This report examines problems and solutions for the current disseminationdeployment policies of new and renewable energiesy in Korea. Among OECD countries， Korea’s electricity generation and capacity from renewable energy ranks at the bottom of the list. However， government’s support for new and renewable energiesy is on the decline. The report also points out that Korea has not yet introduced renewable portfolio standard (RPS) requirements.
