NARS Holds Virtual 15th Founding Ceremony
On Friday, March 25, the National Assembly Research Service (Chief Kim Man-heum) held its 15th founding ceremony. The ceremony was held virtually, with all members attending via virtual platform, abiding by disinfection guidelines in the context of Covid-19, just the same as last year.

In the ceremony, Kim Man-heum, the chief of National Assembly Research Service, said “We, National Assembly Research Service, should think about what the nation and the generation are asking for and do our best to make the National Assembly become the institution which gives hope to the people.”

Also, six members of the National Assembly were elected as outstanding members in commemoration of the 15th founding ceremony, comprehensively considering the number of cases of research requests, related press quotations and initiatives of bills using the contents of research output, and so forth.

Plaques in appreciation for their service were presented by the Speaker of the National Assembly to Lee Sang-min (Democratic Party of Korea, member of the National Assembly for Yuseong Eul District of Daejeon, Five-Term Member), Park Hong-keun (Democratic Party of Korea, member of the National Assembly for Jungnang Eul District of Seoul, Third-Term Member), Tae Yong-ho (People Power Party, member of the National Assembly for Gangnam Gab District of Seoul, First-Term Member), Kim Yea-ji (People Power Party, List Member, First-Term Member), Kang Eun-mi (Justice Party, List Member, First-Term Member), Yang Jung-suk (Independent, List Member, First-Term Member).
