Since 2009， as a housing demand around the capital area has moved towards a high demand on the private rented sector from that on self-occupation， the housing market has rapidly restructured. The housing market system in Korea had been developed mainly with mass production and supply， however the system of private rented sector had not been well-developed. The present report firstly illustrates domestic and overseas (UK， US， Australia， France， and Germany) cases to draw factors that would be applicable to set a more reliable and durable system for private rented sector， then presents legislative tasks.
