This report deals with the Elderly Care Service Project which provides seniors who are poor and living alone with special services such as the safety and health check service or the housekeeping service， and connects the elderly to various local welfare services. As the project is operated based on the detailed project guidelines， the researchers combined the existing literature research with field research covering not only the urban but rural areas (Gangdong-gu and Nowon-gu in Seoul; Goheung-gun， Jeollanam-do; Uiseong-gun， Gyeongsangbuk-do; Yuseong-gu， Daejeon) to properly apprehendcapture the reality. The report shows the current state of the project in terms of the its administrative operation by the administrative， the provision of the Care Service， and the supply and demand of the service， and suggests the tasks for its improvement.
