In the Plenary Meeting of Central Committee on 31 March， North Korea presented the Plan to simultaneously build-up its economy and nuclear capabilities. Then in the 7th Supreme People’s Assembly on 1 April， it had legalized the Plan. The present report examines the characteristics of previous plans of North Korea on economic development， the characteristics and evaluation of its plan to build-up the economy and nuclear capabilities under Kim Jong-un’s regime， and its future prospects.
