[A study on the operating status， problems and improvement of "environmentally friendly farms" in Korea] Jang， young ju， Kim， kyung min Since 2009， the Korean government started the qualification program of the farm management "environmentally friendly farms" that qualified livestock management， environmental conservation， manure recycling， harmony of landscapes. 6 farms were qualified in 2009， but there has been no increase since. Establishing the basis for an environmentally livestocks is very important to the advancement of livestock industry and to strengthen the defenses of the epidemic， to activation of the system. The qualification standard of "Environmentally friendly farms" will renew in September 2012. Therefore， it is time to examine the qualification program "Environmentally friendly farms" and address the reason that the program is difficult to expanded. Five "environmentally friendly farms"(Bumsan farm， ujungjongdon， Younggwangchungborihanwoo farm， Bongyoung farm， bukjejuyoungnongjohab) were visited and investigated， from October to November in 2011. The paper address resulting analysis of problems and suggestions. This paper examined the methods and strategies to expanded and promote the qualification program of "Environmentally friendly farms" in Korea.
